Menu Design
Local restaurants are often restricted to a budget. Many opt to let their food speak for itself and lack in presentation and design. As a graphic designer, it is important to be able to produce exceptional work while keeping within the restrictions of the client's vision as well as the budget. Given the exact text I needed to incorporate, the paper size, and the limitation of black and white printing, I was able to design a menu that is both visually appealing and highly readable. I organized the information into three columns that are then divided into different item sections. To help with organization and readability, I developed a consistent system of type to help differentiate items from descriptions, prices, etc.
